News: (Completed) Important Customer Notification: Deployment of Critical Patches to address CVE-2015-3456 ("VENOM")

A security vulnerability, CVE-2015-3456 ("VENOM") has been announced that could potentially exploit the virtual floppy drive code used by many virtualization platforms. 


We are currently in the process of rolling out patches through all affected hypervisor hosts, and this process is expected to complete within the next couple of days. As a result of applying the patches, some servelets will have to be restarted which may cause downtime of up to 20 minutes.  Affected customers have been contacted with the relevant information.
