This article covers how to configure cPanel after initial servelet launch.

cPanel is automatically installed if you select the OS Template "CentOS 6.6 (64-bit) + cPanel" OS template when launching your servelet.

You can also choose to install cPanel on your servelet manually.

After your CentOS+cPanel servelet is created, find the IP address of your servelet, as well as the root password of your servelet, and then access this URL:

https://[YOUR-IP-ADDRESS]:2087/

Replace [YOUR-IP-ADDRESS] with the IP address of your servelet.

If you receive warning message that the connection is untrusted, please ignore the warning. In Firefox, click on "I Understand the Risks" message and then click on "Add Exception" button.

Key in the username and password:

Username: root
Password: [YOUR-SERVELET-ROOT-PASSWORD]

As per above, you can check the root password of your servelet here.

Once you have successfully logged in, cPanel & WebHost Manager End User License Agreement page will appear. Read the agreement, and then click on "I Agree/Go to Step 2" button.

Under the "Setup Networking" page, please key in your email address and full hostname (FQDN) of the server. Under Resolvers, you can put the IP addresses of our name servers: 103.25.200.6 (for ns1.simplercloud.com) and 103.25.202.165 (for ns2.simplercloud.com). Click on "Save & Go to Step 3".

Under the "Setup IP Addresses" page, click on "Skip This Step and Use Default Settings" button.

Under the "Nameservers" page, choose your preferred DNS server and click on "Save & Go to Step 5" button.

Under the "Services" page, choose your preferred FTP server and mail server, then click on "Save & Go to Step 6" button.

Under the "Quotas" page, choose on whether you would like to use file system quota or not. Click on "Finish Setup Wizard" to complete the installation.

You will then be redirected to your cPanel/WHM control panel interface. Take note that your control panel is running on a trial license, therefore you have to proceed to purchase your cPanel license once installation is completed.
