How can I create a cPanel account on the WHM control panel?

To create a cPanel account on WHM control panel, you would need to login to your WHM control panel at below URL:

https://YOUR-IP-ADDRESS:2087/

Replace YOUR-IP-ADDRESS with the IP address of your servelet.

If you receive warning message that the connection is untrusted, please ignore the warning. In Firefox, click on "I Understand the Risks" message and then click on "Add Exception" button.

Key in the username and password:

Username: root
Password: YOUR-SERVELET-ROOT-PASSWORD

Once you have logged into your WHM control panel, please go to Account Functions > Create a New Account to create a new cPanel account under your WHM.

Domain Information

Under this section, please perform below steps:

1. Enter the domain name for the new account in the Domain text box (e.g. domain.com).
2. Enter the username for the new account in the Username text box. The username must be 16 characters or less, and the first 8 characters have to be unique within the system.
3. Enter and confirm the new password in the appropriate text boxes.
4. Enter the main contact email address for the new account.

Package

Under this section, you can assign an existing package to the account, provided that you have created the package in advance by going to WHM control panel > Packages > Add a Package. Alternatively, you can tick the "Select Options Manually" option if you want to edit the package options manually. A new window "Manual Resource Options" will appear where you can configure the account's package options such s the disk space quota, bandwidth limit, maximum FTP accounts, maximum email accounts, etc.

Settings

Under this section, you can select if the account will be using a dedicated IP or a shared IP. Note that your servelet comes with 1 (one) IP address by default, and the IP will be used as a shared IP for all the accounts. You would need to get additional IP address from us if you need to assign a dedicated IP for a cPanel account.

You can also configure if the account will have Shell and CGI account, as well as seting the cPanel theme and locale. More information on how to configure this section can be found on cPanel documentation at below URL:

Reseller Settings

Under this section, you can make the cPanel account you have created as a reseller account. More information on how to configure this section can be found on cPanel documentation at below URL:

DNS Settings

Under this section, you can configure the DNS settings for this account, such as enabling DKIM and SPF for the domain under this account. More information on how to configure this section can be found on cPanel documentation at below URL:

Mail Routing Settings

Under this section, you can configure how the email routing will be done, either via local mail exchanger, backup mail exchanger or remote mail exchanger. More information on how to configure this section can be found on cPanel documentation at below URL:

Once you have filled in all the sections, click on "Create" to create the new cPanel account.

Once the cPanel account has been created, you may login to cPanel control panel using the username and password of the newly created account at below URL:

https://YOUR-IP-ADDRESS:2083/

Replace YOUR-IP-ADDRESS with the IP address of your servelet.

Take note that while WHM control panel is using port 2087, cPanel control panel is using port 2083, which you can see at the end of the cPanel control panel URL above.
